Nursing School is Like Bike and Build

Well the old adage, the more things change the more they stay the same definitely rings true for this Bike and Build Alum.  It has been two months since we hit the Pacific Ocean and things seem oddly familiar as I head into midterm season at school.

---------

I wake up before the sun rises
(yes this was an after the sun set photo, but the only one I have in the dark)

Put on my nursing "kit"

Throw on some compression socks because no one likes veracious veins.

I eat some oatmeal, and maybe make some coffee (Where is Steph when you need her?)

Hop on my bike in the early morning light (or pre-dawn) and head to the medical campus

Eat a snack and caffinate myself for real real a.k.a second breakfast.
This is what happens when you have no coffee mugs ... you get creative people.

Pass out on the floor to catch a quick power nap between classes
(it is way more comfortable than it looks)

Eat lunch, head back to class, eat a snack, head to Simlab

Hop back on my bike as the sun is setting, eat dinner, peruse the SUS facebook page, do some studying or some blogging.  Pass out, get up and do it all over again!
