Off to Play Tourist

Several members of the crew had never been to New York before so we decided to see a few of the sites.  After breakfast we all boarded the subway and headed over to the High Line.

Let me tell you, IT WAS COLD!!  Unfortunately none of the plants were in bloom (I mean it is winter here people), but it was still nice to wander through the park.

As we were walking down the path, we saw a couple recreating a piece of street art on one of the adjacent apartment buildings.  In true SUS form, Jay and Marcus decided to recreate the photo.  Instead of dipping, Marcus planked and they went down (HARD).  The rest of us of course were dying from laughter and there were some tourists who stopped to watch/document the shenanigans.

Take two was much better.

Then off to the Brooklyn Bridge!

The last stop of the evening was ice skating in Central Park.  I have not been skating in several years so I was really excited.  What made it even better was the fact you could see the city beyond the rink and there were hot jams hot jams.  Now there was not too much dancing as I was afraid that any sudden movements would cause me to wipe out.  The others were a bit more successful with the dance moves and were able to pull off a pretty convincing Gangnam Style. While there were no pictures from the evening, Marcus did try to get me to do this spinning thing which did not turned out as planned.  The video was basically me trying not to fall and laughing hysterically.  Below is the only screen shot I could get which wasn't completely blurry ... just something to prove that I was there.
