The last two years I have been out of town for the Baltimore Running Festival; this thing shuts down the city and including the streets around my apartment. This year, however, I will be one of several thousands to run around the city (the first half is up and the second is down). TODAY starts the 13 week journey of training and this time I am actually going to stick to the schedule. Consider this my formal commitment to the cause. Anyone is more than welcome to join!

Third Time's the Charm
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? It seems like every time I am running both times I have run a half marathon, I hit mile 10.5 and vow to myself that I will NEVER run another one again. But then I finish, eat some carbs, put on my race swag and all seems right in the world again.
